It starts with us. Somatic Experiencing helps us to notice how we hold feelings of stress, fear or any trigger within our bodies and provides us with simple and effective tools for letting go of them.
In this two hour workshop, embodiment expert Dr Abi Blakeslee will go through basic somatic experiencing practices that can help re-regulate the nervous system. You will also learn basic skills to enhance your ability to provide effective relational repair work.
Becoming aware of our responses to environmental stimuli is the key to helping children and adults foster some control over their responses and develop new strategies to better manage life’s ups and downs.
